God didn't call you to chase a relationship.
He called you to become who He created you to be.
In this new blog, I share how God transformed my perspective on relationships, self-worth, and walking confidently in His purpose.
Happy focus Friday!! I saw a video of a woman speaking that maybe God has called you to be a sister in Christ to a particular person and not be in a relationship with them. That spoke volumes to me and reminded me of back in the day when I was so focused on wanting to be in a relationship before I even wanted to be friends with someone.
I thank God he gave me the wisdom to open my eyes to see that the value of my life is more than just needing someone by my side for comfort. The Bible tells us that God has sent us a comforter that will teach us so that we may learn and understand the ways of living.
John 14:26: Jesus explains that "the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things".
When a woman stops allowing a man into her life out of desperation, loneliness, or the need for acceptance—and stops inviting him into her home or bedroom simply because she longs for a relationship or marriage—she creates space for God’s plan to unfold.
No person can fill the void that only God was meant to fill. When a woman chooses to trust God, surrender her desires, and allow Him to order her steps, she positions herself to receive the man who has truly been assigned to her, in His perfect timing.
Today, I was reminded of Day 24, in my Devotional book “Catching the Vision to Focus Forward with a new bold and brave life” where I wrote about having the right standards and not allowing fear of other people’s opinions to determine how you live your life. (I will share on another post)

Perhaps God is giving me the courage to speak more openly about relationships after being silent for so long. Or maybe He’s leading me to do more interviews on relationships, or even write a book on the subject. Only He knows.
What I do know is this:
Be comfortable in your own skin. Love yourself. Invest in yourself. Don’t depend on a man or a woman to define the best years of your life or determine your worth.
If you have a void in your heart, don’t look for another person to fill it. Get to the root of that void. Allow God to heal those broken places. Discover who you are, whose you are, and the purpose God created you to fulfill.
When God assigns the right person for you, both of you will be in alignment.

Today, I’m grateful that God opened my eyes to see His vision for my life more clearly. When you find your identity in Him, you no longer have to chase acceptance from people—you can walk confidently in the purpose He has already prepared for you.
Maybe this message is to help someone. I don’t know why God put on my heart to share today. because I don’t look for acceptance from anybody now but maybe you do.

Today’s challenge: Search within to find the root of why you feel you have to have someone fill that void and be reminded that your comfort is always filled from God, not from a person.
